Latest art stuff...

I've begun trying ot have fun with my art again. I'm not in as much pain now and am ready to move on and start feeling good. I've decided that if I draw for fun again that maybe it'll help me heal faster. I've always been a very impatient person and waiting for my body to heal after having major abdominal surgery is driving me insane!!! It's only been 2 weeks and I feel like my body should just bounce back and be fine now. Well, it hasn't and it's not. I still have to be so careful! Here are my latest ebay ACEO listings.

This first one is how I feel mentally ... I'm ready to go and jump and play again. It's what I wish I could do right now. I'll just have to tuck this away for a while ... but soon, ah, soon.

The one below is just for fun. I love Johnny Depp, always have. He's always played such oddball characters and doesn't sell out just to make a buck or be in the movies. He has to really identify with a character or he won't play the part. He refuses to compromise. I remember that when I first saw him in the movie 'Cry Baby' that I wanted to draw his face. His face has such great lines and it just needed for me to draw it.

Lately, I've been selling my artwork on ebay. This is the latest one. It's Gene Simmons from KISS.

It seems that the things that sell best as far as ebay art goes are portraits that are very dramaticly drawn. Dramatic colors and shadows and content seem to be the ticket for the most part.
